For the 2022 edition of World Ducati Week, Ducati set out to increase engagement around the Lenovo Race of Champions, by offering fans a more playful and participatory way to connect with the race, both online and on-site.
SOLUTION
To meet this goal, a dedicated web app, Fanta WDW, was created to let users make real-time predictions about the race, from who would win to who might crash. Fans could register, create their team of Ducati riders and gain points by completing activities throughout the event. The experience was structured to extend across future editions of World Ducati Week as well.
A NEW KIND OF RACING EXPERIENCE
Fanta WDW reimagined how fans connect with motorsport by adding a layer of strategy, competition and fun. With a bold visual system and real-time features, it made the Lenovo Race of Champions more immersive than ever, drawing over 17,000 accesses across three days and proving the power of interactive formats in fan engagement.
